On and on, the snow will fall...

Yep... First snow of the year in Montreal...
Well, it's not like we couldn't have expected it, uh?
It's neither as it would be a first for me, (sadly enough)...

But, all in all, I'm not complaining, 'cause if I'm not happy with it, I just have to get the hell out and move to Vancouver... or elsewhere...

I'm singing in the snow... :)

I dunno, first snowfall is always kinda nice anyway, even if it's getting colder every day, even when it's not a so nice day after all (it's windy and grey today), and even if you know you're gonna dislike the damn thing in a couple weeks and hate it by the end of february...
The fact is the snow transform the landscape. It's been transformed anyway, since all the leaves fell from the trees making them look so sad, so after all the colors are gone from the trees and the mountains, it's better to have snow to light it up than nothing at all, I beleive.
And it's good since everything is brighter with snow, so it's kinda less depressing altogether than the regular grey and dark streets, especially since the days are getting shorter and there's not much sun around for the season.
And snow is also chistmaslike, so it's gonna enlight people as well, and that's never a bad thing, as I think of it.

So... after all, it's not too bad to get the first snowfall of the season.
Yep. So here we are again...
Enjoy the pics! The one on top was taken this morning, in Rue de la Commune, in the Old Montreal. The following one was taken at noon, in the Old Port (you can see the museum of history and archeology in the back).
